Behind the dépendances, there is a tennis court which was built on the site of the previous tennis court. It was basically overgrown and abandoned by the time Andrew bought Château Mitaud, and the surface (pink again, do you sense a theme here?) was broken up by the plants pushing through. Bamboo is beautiful but unless kept in check can become a scourge of any structure built over it, due to its phenomenal growth and ability to lift obstacles with it, and is already trying to break through the recently relaid surface.

Grab a bird's eye view from the umpine's chair where you can make disputed line calls with complete impunity ("you cannot be serious").
