Honeymoons

Château Mitaud is an ideal place for honeymoons. It is just far enough away from the city to give a sense of peace and quiet in a beautiful natural setting, but close enough to the main transport hubs with easy access from Mérígnac (about 45 minutes drive depending on traffic) and Gare St Jean the main train station in Bordeaux (about 40 minutes drive depending on traffic) to make getting there easy and quick. With the new high speed line opening on 2nd July 2017 cutting the journey time from Paris from 194 minutes to 124 minutes, travelling by train from Paris (even for a weekend) will become a much more attractive and convenient option.

Whether you just want to spend time relaxing in the pavilion on the lake in the Chinese water garden or walking around the many beautiful lanes and footpaths around Château Mitaud, or you want to spend the time more actively, visiting wineries in the Médoc or shopping in Bordeaux, we have the perfect way to make your stay special. We will offer a special greeting package to newly-weds.
